Betfair Launches Improved Software

Online Poker, 2007-05-02, by Ozone

Betfair Poker just released a new version of their software. Players can now enjoy features such as resizable table windows, multi-tabling up to 15 tables, and navigation buttons that improve usability. As incentive to check out their new software, Betfair Poker is holding a promotion that will give away over $50,000.

Starting Friday May 4th and then running every Tuesday in May thereafter, a series of three tournaments will have $2,000 added to each of their prize pools. The top ten average finishers in each of the three tournaments will share an additional $1,000.

Thomas "Buzzer" Bihl, a German poker pro, will be playing sit-'n'-go tournaments at Betfair between Wednesday May 16th and Sunday May 20th from 7pm to 9pm. Each night, Buzzer will play roughly 40 tournaments with the stakes ranging from $2.50 up to $400. A bounty will be on Buzzer's head for each of these tournaments, meaning the player who knocks him out receives a cash award. The size of the bounty differs based on the buy-in of the tournament.

Finally, on Thursday May 3rd, Betfair is holding three tournaments each of which nine sponsored players will be participating in. These nine players will have a bounty on their heads worth entry to another tournament on Betfair, buy-in ranging from $82.50 up to $320.

Check out these cool promotions now using Betfair Poker's improved software.

Betfair Poker does not accept real-money players from the United States.
