Second Neteller Co-Founder Pleads Guilty

Ten days ago, one of Neteller's two co-founders, Stephen Lawrence, plead guilty to a charge of criminal conspiracy. Today, Neteller's other co-founder, John Lefebvre, plead guilty to the same charge.
The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) arrested the two men for facilitating money transfers from Americans to online gambling sites. The DOJ indictment accused the two defendants of money laundering.
Both have plead guilty to a lesser charge. Their sentencing will take place in October. Each faces up to five years in prison and hefty fines.
In a statement eerily similar to Lawrence's, Lefebvre said, "I came to see that providing online services for gambling customers in the United States was wrong."
No further news has been released regarding Neteller's repayment of funds to US account holders. Americans have not been able to cash out the money they had in their Neteller accounts since the two co-founders were arrested back in January.
